: Honest question here. Following ASU baseball - especially this year - I can't imagine how anyone on that team could get anything done in school with that kind of schedule! These guys are on the road during the week, they're playing 6 games in 7 days sometimes, they have practice, etc. I could barely keep up with my studies at ASU and I didn't play anything besides Donkey Kong! How do these guys do it? Online testing or something? I have no doubt that they do it legitimately, but I'm seriously curious how.

RDF: They have tutors and to be honest they do study on the road, but honestly it has been a struggle sometimes. They are tired and the week of finals when they were traveling so much they had their Academic Advisor on the road to proctor tests. This is what happens when the NCAA listens to ONE cry-baby conference (BIG 10) and decides on a compressed schedule. Let's remember that they are called STUDENT-athletes which indicates that they should be students first. Our kids are pretty smart and most of them will pass their classes with flying colors, but I wouldn't be surprised to see kids all over the country having academic issues this year. Hopefully the idiots at the NCAA will see the error of this compressed schedule and go back to the way it was. This is also the reason that Coach Murphy front-loaded our schedule the way he did. Unlike a lot of schools the past 5 weeks, we have not had a lot of mid-week games or they were close by. There are schools out there that have been travelling every week. I don't know how they are getting it done.

This is just one girl's opinion.

GO DEVILS!!!!
