I agree. I think Murph will bring back Leake tonight so he can pitch on Tuesday. Plus, he only threw 78 pitches on Tuesday (which is still a lot), but I think if he feels ok, Murph will start him. I think that's why he pitched Spence last night also, he's thinking ahead.
: I would agree with you if the championship game was Saturday, but it's not. They have to win 2 games to get to the championship series, so Blair will pitch one and Leake the other. If Leake pitches on Friday then he's available for the second game of the championship series on Tuesday. Given that Spence came back after 122 pitches on only 3 days rest, I don't see it as out of the question that he brings Leake back on two after 78 pitches.
: : Its gotta be Blair. You need 2 so pitching Leake on Fri makes no sense if you end up with Blair on Sat. Sit Leake. Pitch Blair and hope he has a good game.
