leadoff: Maggi 3B
2nd: Riccio Torrez/Wilson 1B (may the best man win out)
3rd: Ruiz DH
4th: Calhoun LF
5th: Newman RF (pushed by Aplin)
6th: Rudy/Jacob Morris CF (sharing time)
7th: Carillo C
8th: Marrero SS
9th: MacPhee 2B
Starters: Blair, Kelly, Patterson, Swagerty (no particular order)
Relief: Lambson, Moody
I'm assuming Barrett goes pro, but if he stays and can psychologically handle playing both ways, then a very good team could become a great team.
Congrats to the 2009 team. Very disappointing exit, but the team fought hard and I thought Murphy did a good job. We choked in the first game against Texas, but we also did a lot of good things, so I am not going to dwell on the bad. We do need to win a national championship as soon as possible. If Holiday stays, I believe that will happen in the next five years.
