::: The lineup thread below didn't include any players from the recruiting class because it's pointless to speculate until you know who's coming to school after the August 15th deadline. I was simply trying to construct a partial lineup based on the players that are returning for sure. Technically Leake, Spence, and Ramirez could return as well. We all know they probably won't so it's a waste of time to try to form a lineup with guys you don't know are coming back or going to arrive. As far as the battle at 1B, after watching Riccio Torrez and Wilson play this year, Wilson is by far a better hitter and I hope is the starting 1B next year. The one junior that may actually come back is Raul Torrez, which would help push one of the younger more talented players and provide a late inning defensive replacement at 3B if needed. The Devils could be really good next year, even more talented than this year. If Barrett arrives on campus and the impossible happens and Spence returns they could have a really solid pitching staff.
