Not sure if anyone noticed but the head coach at UW was "asked to resign" aka fired. That program is going to struggle for a while now with OSU's committment and success in baseball, Oregon's reestablishment of their program, and Wazzu's recent improvement. UW had their time in the late 90s but never capitalized on that period of success. Their administration and alumni failed to raise enough money to construct a stadium around their new field and that really hurt them with recruiting, especially the last two or three years. If they get a good coach in there that can recruit and they build the new facility, that program could get good within three years. There is plenty of baseball talent in the state of Washington.
