:: Yes, it's old news but I hadn't seen much about it here because everyone was watching the Sun Devils in the CWS. That would be great for Giarantano but there will be a ton of candidates for that job. Seattle is a great place to live and apparently with U-dubs committment to building the stadium around their field, it will be an attractive job. Not sure if Giarantano has any ties in the northwest, which could be an issue. If he applies for the job, Wazzu's recruiting coordinator will be a frontrunner for the job as well. He was a very successful JC coach in the Seattle area before moving on to Gonzaga as an assistant, then UW as an assistant, and now Wazzu as recruiting coordinator. He has done a great job bringing talent into Pullman and helping that program at Wazzu be successful again. If you consider how bad they were just four or five years ago, that coaching staff has done an amazing job. Probably one of the main reasons Knutson got fired at UW. He is a northwest guy so he has that going for him as well.
Also, if you think USF's facilities are bad now, you should have seen them 10 years ago. Would have barely passed for a decent high school field. They have done a great job improving that place. There just isn't much room to work with on that part of their campus.
