I don't know what "lack of institutional control" entails, but some of the things they said our coaches did are so minor that it's a joke. Apparently, the NCAA has a rule that you log every call you attempt to a recruit. ASU kept a log of recruits they talked to or left messages for. If they got an answering machine and hung up, they did not logged that. Maybe another recruit was calling them back and they wanted to answer it live, I don't know. Apparently, this is lack of instituional control according to the NCAA. I've been out to watch some of our players throw pitches to 5 year olds in Murph's Sandlot Allstars at Packard. Apparently, this is an NCAA crime. If this is part and parcel of our transgressions, then the NCAA are facists. By the way, did Pete Carroll receive a lack of institutional control for SC football. Yeah, I didn't think so.
