He was an unpaid volunteer with Murphy with an unspecified role. Murphy doesn't like to allocate power so I have a feeling he would have not been our pitching coach. I doubt that murphy saw the error in his ways after 16 years and was finally ready to completely turn the pitching reigns to someone else. I just didn't see that happening
As I said before, I did NOT want murph to leave, but it pleases me to see some positives come forth
