: What's the tailgating scene like and home fan friendliness at road baseball games? Imagine great in Texas, but not much in PAC.
:: Depends where you are. ASU has the best fan support by far in the PAC 10. The SEC schools are insane, mostly because that is the only baseball people have in some of the SEC towns. No major league team in the state of Alabama and no minor league teams in Auburn or Tuscaloosa. Same with LSU in Baton Rouge. Same with Tennessee in Knoxville. Same with the Mississippi schools. You can't really compare the SEC with the other conferences. Yes, the baseball is very good but no better than it is in the PAC 10 from year to year. But the fans are rabid, the stadiums are huge, and the overall experience is like nothing on the west coast. That being said, I'll take a 75 degree evening in April at Packard watching the Devils over any game at an SEC school.
