: ...with the Pac-10 having six teams in the NCAA regional tournaments, that UCLA (the Pac-10 Champion with two stud pitchers) would be the first team eliminated? I know I thought the Bruins would make a deep run in the tournament behind Cole and Bauer. Oh well, that's why they play the games. Go Sun Devils!

Sun Devil fans,
California scored six runs in the last two innings tonight to come from behind to beat Baylor 9-8. That puts four Pac-10 teams into the Super Regional (ASU, Oregon State, Stanford, and California). Also, I believe the U of A game against Texas A & M must have been rained out today. So, there's a chance that the Pac-10 could put five teams into the final sixteen if the Wildcats win tomorrow in College Station.
It's still hard to believe that the only Pac-10 team eliminated is UCLA (with two of the top three picks in the Major League Draft in their two stud pitchers). Great showing by the Pac-10 Conference so far in the NCAA Baseball Tournament. Go Sun Devils!
