I know there have been "issues" in the past, and President Crow is not a fan of the 'Lopes.
But it seems as though both programs could benefit by scheduling a couple of games on a couple of Wednesdays over the course of a few weeks.
According to Boyd's World GCU has a 62 RPI, compared to an 11 RPI for ASU. However, when ASU plays teams like Purdue (148) and UNLV (147), even by winning, it damages ASU's RPI.
Bottom line - don't schedule teams with really low RPI's.
Overall, ASU's SOS seems solid - but you never know how the committee decides regional and SR hosts, etc.
