Stanford has a virtual reality QB Training facility that allows the QB to be on a VR field and react to the defense. The coach is also on the field and can freeze or rerun the play to instruct the QB while the QB is in the middle of all the action. Shaw stated that it greatly accelerates the QB learning curve and improves receiver route tree progression and reaction time.
I wonder how long it will be before we see players with telemetry implants.
