If this Smith led team loses 5 of the final 6, which is entirely possible, Tracy will be 15-15 in his 5th year of our storied program. It that happens we will not make the post season.
I suspect Tracy will literally throw everything and the kitchen sink at the next 6 games to ensure a postseason birth. He will leave our pitching staff completely worn out. At this point I would almost rather miss out on post season than watching Tracy embarrass our program on a larger stage.
He can go back to being a middle of the road Big10 coach. We need a real coach that can lead our program back to playing fundamentally sound baseball. We are so far from where we should be at this point in his tenure.
