Couldnt agree more. Smith hasn't done anything to restore our program to the elite program we used to be. In his 7 years here his winning percentage is slightly above .500. No conference titles. Not even close. Eliminated in the regionals when we do get into the tournament. It used to be the expectation that we would win or contend for the conference title, that we would host a super regional and we would make a deep run in the tournament. Now it seems like those who defend him just make excuse after excuse as to why we lose in the regionals every year. They make excuses for why we haven't won the pac 12 title during his tenure. He is not held accountable for these bad losses that we have had. He has yet to take responsibility for the putrid performance last night. He consistently mismanages the bullpen and cost us the series against stanford. He should have been fired awhile ago. Any other university would have fired him. A winning percentage of .588 is unacceptable. Yet anderson extended his contract through 2023. We need to cut ourvlosses and go in a different direction. We have gone from an elite program to a mediocre one. Mediocrity is unacceptable
