: ASU is almost assured of getting into the field of 64 - unless some really odd things occur.

: So - AD RA will simply remark about - "another successful ASU season", following ASU's early exit from some obscure regional in the midwest.

: Smith should have been canned following the consecutive losing seasons.

: Winning a PAC12 championship is apparently no longer a goal.

ButterBall Devil,
I agree with you 100%! Tracy Smith should've been fired after the back to back losing seasons. Now, we're stuck with him, because it's pretty damn obvious that Ray Anderson isn't going to fire him after this season.

This is year SEVEN of Tracy Smith coaching ASU baseball. If this team goes two and a barb-a-que at the regional, then I hope that some reporter has the balls to ask him what's the difference between Tim Esmay's last year at ASU (when Anderson fired him), and the 2021 season? I don't want to hear about injuries and being young...it's year SEVEN.

ASU baseball is mediocre at best right now. Oh, and by the way, the U of A won the Pac-12 Conference in baseball this year. Coach Johnson (I think that's his name) has already finished 2nd in the country at the College World Series and won a Pac-12 Championship. He's been in Tucson less time than Tracy Smith has been in Tempe, Arizona. Sad times at ASU. Go Sun Devils!
