It will come down to which asu team shows up. It will come down to the fundamentals...sound defense, good pitching and patience at the plate. We can't afford to come out flat like we did in game 1 vs ucla. Have to clean up the errors. We had 7 errors in the ucla series. No first pitch swinging. Make their pitcher work. Get his pitch count up. The coaches need to not hesitate to make a change if the starter is struggling to find the strike zone, is walking batters, etc. They can't wait until we are down several runs before going to the bullpen. With the way Smith mismanages the bullpen any game that is close we will have to find a way to win in spite of him
