Since losing to USC in the 1998 CWS title game, ASU has not made the CWS finals. In the meantime, Oregon State has won 3 titles, Arizona and UCLA have each appeared in final games twice, each winning 1 title, and Stanford has made the final game 3 times. After a 22 year "dry spell" one might wonder if ASU baseball is a sleeping giant - or a sleepy giant. Lets hope we can get back into national prominence.
