He came here just a couple of yrs ago allegedly with great credentials. Why, is the Sun Devil pitching coach exempt from the bile spewed daily rants here on the Ranch blaming all of the bad pitching decisions on Smith? I concur that a HC change is needed. I just don't understand the isolated criticism.
I believe we've had previous staffs that lacked a specific titled pitching coach, and the criticism was that the HC was an idiot because he didn't have a pitching coach. Now we have a pitching coach whom is immune from the criticism.
