Curious if the former baseball coach was ever in contact with your team? I have a sneaking suspicion he made little effort in AZ as most of his ties seemed to be in the midwest.

: I'm a local high school baseball coach. I have been for 33 years. Yesterday, the guy I coach with told me that he received a personal phone call from Willie Bloomquist. It's really good to know that Coach Bloomquist is personally reaching out to Arizona high school baseball coaches. This will big time help with recruiting local kids, in my opinion.
