(SD)I agree next year's recruiting is extremely critical but ASU will still have 6 rides to give out compared to 2 for Stanford this gives us a big leg up on Stanford.
Pac 10 will be tougher with 2 new coaches Nikki Caldwell at UCLA and Niya Butts at AZ.I think there is still a perception that the Pac 10 is still a one team league especially with Stanford making the Championship game this year.I still disagree with this perception,Yes Stanford keeps winning the conference but it's not like they aren't being pushed, Cal this season and ASU last year.
I really liked that the ASU coaching staff went out and found a much needed guard for next season, this shows that they are not standing pat and looking to address their weaknesses.I feel good about next year's recruiting class.I feel confident that they are looking at bringing in a strong class but we'll just have to wait and see what shakes up in the next few months.
Big news on the softball recruiting front, ASU took a huge step up in softball recruiting when St Mary's standout pitcher Dallas Escobedo verbally committed to ASU.Escobedo could be the next Katie Burkhart for ASU in a few years.
