Well said. Going into the season one cannot tell what the SOS is going to look like at the end. The current schedule looks tough enough to me but so did last years prior to the season.
If it ends up to be weak, the naysayers will be saying the same things, that ASU needs to toughen up its schedule, blah, blah.
: Basically it said that last year we thought we had an okay schedule on paper but were hurt that the teams we played in Maui ended up sucking. Illinois, LSU, and Princeton.
: Next year we will have 6 challenging games. 3 games in Anaheim (Baylor and Wake would be ideal teams to play to beef up our SOS with UTEP, Charlotte, Providence, Cal-State Fullerton and a team to be named later also in the field) and then three scheduled "tough" teams (BYU, SDSU, and Nebraska).
: However, there is worry that BYU could suck because Cummard and Plaisted are still testing the draft's waters. So, much like last year we could get hurt by teams that look good on paper only to see them wilt. If LSU had been good last year, we'd have been in the tourney. And, we thought if we took care of business in the toughest conference (which we did) that we'd be good. Time will tell.
