First off, glad to see the board working again, Thanks to Larry.ASU getting a 6th seed is fair enough, going to Duluth, Ga to play Georgia is part of the game.Stanford goes to San Diego as a #2 seed and Cal goes to L.A.as a #4 seed, that's the way it came out, I have no problem with the seedings, they were pretty fair.
I think ASU matches up pretty good with Georgia except for the coaching.I think Georgia has a big advantage there with Andy Landers.I thought CTT did her worst coaching job of the season in ASU's Pac 10 tournament loss to USC last Friday, if she coaches the same way against Georgia as she did against USC,it will probably be a one and out for ASU.
As always she likes to blame the players for the loss but it's her rotation that is totally killing this team,against USC you play a player 19 mins in the 1st half she has 0 pts, 4 TO's,while your other starting guard has 6 pts,5 Rb's 0 TO's in the 1st half but only plays 10 mins, something wrong with that picture!
I know ASU is playing without Dymond and it hurts but you have to compensate for that loss not compound the problem and makes things worse.Charli is hung up on this notion that her players cannot play 32-36 mins a game,which is utterly ridiculous considering most all other schools in the country do just that!It's not that they can't play those mins,it's more like WHO you give those mins to!
Well,let's hope things go better in Georgia than in L.A. it was pretty frustrating to sit at the Galen Center and watch the Devils play last Friday!
