Well, the last time ASU & Texas A&M met in a athletic matchup it was the finals of last year's Women's College World Series, we know how that turned out hopefully we can have the same result Sunday.
Texas A&M plays a high pressure defense, their guards are very quick and fast, against Minnesota they forced 32 turnovers and had 20 steals in that game,one of Minnesota's guard Brittany McCoy had 10 TO's all by herself!ASU will have to take care of the ball especially players like Nia & Gabby, like I said they put alot of pressure on you and like to steal the ball for a easy layup.
ASU had some good practices this week they are aware how A&M plays and the pressure they like to bring so the worked on that all week but you never know until game time.Bri should be ok to go Sunday, she did some running drills and shot on the sidelines yesterday and I expect her to be ok by Sunday.
ASU should have the advantage on the low post again like they did against Georgia & FSU. A&M has 2 6-3 players and only really plays one of them L Micheaux who starts at center, if ASU can handle the defensive pressure and get the ball down low to our low post players we should do all right but like I said the key is how well we handle the defensive pressure they like to bring.
Cal left for Trenton NJ yesterday morning ASU leaves this morning, all teams have a practice scheduled for Saturday, on a side note Dymond will have her surgery done on Fri a week from today,she says she will be ready to play next season she is very optimistic about it.
