...included losses @ #2 Oklahoma and a very tough Texas squad in Austin. The Lady Devils also lost to a tough Florida team and Stanford & Cal. The only questionable loss was @ Nebraska. ASU learned from that 8-6 start and has went 18-2 ever since. This team could have laid down and died @ 8-6, instead they perservered and answered the gut check. With the loss of Simon this Elite Eight scenario is even more impressive. What is also impressive is that it is the 2nd time in 3 years that Turner-Thorne has this program on the fringe of the Final Four. A victory over UConn is going to be very difficult but not impossible.
