I really hate when people just use talking points even when they don't apply. Our NC schedule included Marquette, UNLV, Maryland, Alabama, Texas A&M, and Harvard. Those are 6 legit teams. Remember that schedules are made a few years in advance so we have no way of knowing how good or bad an individual team will be. But those teams have all been relevant in the last decade. Utah only played 5 legit teams (Kansas, SD State, Wichita State, UNLV, and BYU). Washington only played 2 (Oklahoma and SD State). Even Arizona only played 6 (UNLV, Gonzaga, Kansas State, Missouri, Michigan, and SD State). Oregon played 4 (Michigan, Illinois, VCU and Ole Miss). In fact no other team in the PAC-12 has more than 6 NC games against legit Power 5 schools.
: They really played well, that defense created a lot of opertunities and they didn't let Wallace ever develope a rhythm. I have to admit I fully expected Cal to go on a 12-0 run to start the second half but they kept the pressure on ever since it was 10-10. I think the cupcake NC schedule, as usual, made us unprepared to play the Pac-12 schedule and only now are we ready. I'm thinking NIT, with my maroon and gold colored glasses. (I think we would still have to find seven more wins this season/post season to even get an NIT bid)
