The fact that Kentucky reloads on one and two year players every year is bad for parity in college basketball. College basketball's heyday was in the 1990's when players like Bobby Hurley and Christian Laettner played four years. Reading up on Laettner after watching the 30 for 30 episode, I came across a story where Coach K wasn't going to hang one of the national championship banners in Cameron, because Laettner was a class short of receiving his degree. In part, that's why seeing Wisconsin succeed was so gratifying-- they're doing it with four year players. Unfortunately, most four-year players can't compete with the 1 and dones.
