: Holder is going to have to play lights out D against Payton and we need to shoot well and play with our hair on fire. I like our chances against OSU if we can shoot over 50%. I am not certain we have the bodies to go deep in the P12 tourney but this is March, where anything is possible.

: Go Devils!
One other thing. OSU is playing to get into NCAA's. The conference ref's will be on their side on any 50-50 calls. Will be even tougher than I thought to win.

: : Well, a promising nonconference led to a disappointing conference season, not what the team thought would happen. This final game they played a very good first half. The team moved the ball around for open shots, especially to EJ. Sadly the second half when Cal made its run, the team reverted to one on one basketball throwing up 3 pt shots, that like so often happened this season, failed to drop. My self and others in the crowd kept pleading for the team to work the ball for open shots but to no avail. This was another chance to win a game that went by the wayside, with players trying to act like they are NBA stars when the only future NBA guys were on the Cal team. Next is the PAC-12 Tournament. ASU plays the late game on Wednesday nite against Oregon State when the arena will be mostly empty. We beat the Beavs this season in Tempe so they will be looking for revenge. We know we can beat them, so maybe if we play team basketball, we can pull an upset. Gary Payton is a good player and surprisingly did not play well in the game here. This will be my first time to not be at the PAC Tournament when ASU is playing. I have suffered through so many first round losses, some were blowouts, some last second losses, even a few when we were favored. Maybe it is best to just watch it on the tube as I am so tired of ASU teams that don't compete like the teams of the '60s and '70s.
