this team is very athletic. The guards Holder and Evans are top shelf. I was impressed with Graham. Watching those two lead this ASU against PSU I can see why Buffalo was in the NCAA tourney a couple years back. Both were impressive.
Oleka's game has evolved and it seems he knows his role. Cuncliffe did look out of place. I think it was first game jitters. I expect him to evolve as the season goes. IF he can produce more this team will be a good team.
I expect them to develop throughout the season and to become a NCAA tourney quality team. The pieces are there. I'm not saying a run to sweet sixteen I'm just can making the tourney.
I look forward to watching more games this year. I could imagine what this team would be with White.
Jethro is a BEAST can't wait to see his play late in the season and next year.
This team has Hurley's mark on it.
Oh...I always was impressed with the defense. There was a lot of movement and help. I liked what I saw.
Coach Hurley is building a program and he idea that he's only starting his fourth year as a head coach is amazing. I hope we keep him but I expect him to be here at least three years.
: But not sure how far we will go. Our guard play is outstanding. Evans is solid. Holder has improved so much as a shooter, and looks a tad quicker too. Torian "Moonlight" Graham was lighting it up last night. What an odd shooting release! But it goes in and that's all that matters. Justice was Justice, couple of good dishes and a few 3-pt bombs. Inside we are big but not tall (compared to rest of PAC), and that will be our Achilles heel. I swear Vila cannot jump six inches off the ground. Tshisumpa is athletic for a big guy. But, at times, it looks like he's never played basketball before. If we have a late lead, and he's in the game, there may be a few hack-a-Shaq moments. Definitely a work in progress. We are going to have to depend on Oleka a lot this year. Cunliffe got in foul trouble early and looked to be very frustrated. Not high school any more. Kid just needs to relax and have fun.
