If you haven't read this, Williams will be visiting Oregon this weekend. Gonzaga in early June. He is very busy, prom, graduation and 2 all star games to play in. His decision won't be made until 2-3 week in June. Thus he will not sign NLI, will sign grant in aid. Doesn't bind him, only school to provide scholarship until he attends class. Step father is the only one talking to media. National recruiting gurus are thinking because he didn't take official visit to ASU, they are writing the visit off. Not true, stepfather says they wanted to drive so it would fit what they wanted to do (I think to see how drive would be to come to games at ASU.) The campus and area blew them away. Also like what Hurley does with his guards. So we did nothing to hurt our position, if anything helped it. Stepfather said they have their schedule so if any school needs to move on, they understand. From what I am reading, that may be U4's only hope to get him to pick them, if ASU, Nike U and Zags were to move on to another option. So will ASU move on, don't know. Matt Mooney, 6'3" guard who is a grad transfer I think, is going to visit 5 schools, one of which is ASU. Also Kolby McEwen, Utah State transfer guard is looking at a number of schools, including ASU, Nike U and GCU. So there are other options if the staff finds someone who fits and decide not to wait. We have a very good, top 25 class right now. Williams would be the icing on the cake (top 15 class). We will probably wait but at this time of year anything can happen.
Another recruiting note: ASU has offered a 5 star center who is a junior. He is Balsa Koprivica, 7'0" 240 lbs center at Montverde Academy, a basketball power in Florida.
