Cherry hit a few baskets, Valtonen hit a couple of big shots, even Lawrence made a couple. 43 of 71 points came from players other than White and Martin. I agree it would be nice if another player could get their average above 10 ppg, but perhaps this is a team with two good scorers and several at 7-9 ppg. Time will tell. Also, think fatigue may be an issue. Team has traveled in excess of 18,000 miles to play 7 games. That is tough. Don't give up on this team, they are improving each game.
Good thing Cherry & Lawrence finally had decent games with Martin having a bad night. Graham is already a contributor and seems he is going to develop into a top player up front especially if/when he puts a bit more bulk on. Hopefully Verge can turn it around at some point. He shouldn’t be seeing the court much if he can’t.
