Badger, Spot on. That was a tough game last night. We knew is was going to be a long night when PVAM picked up 6 foul in the first two minutes. As with other games, there were some bright spots, but these next three game should all be tough. Cherry and Lawrence need to step up. They have been in the program long enough to show some positives. Man, is Verge quick to the basket. House is very immature and needs to grow up. All players still need to finish at the rim (easy to say, hard to do) and FT need to improve. But, I see a team that is steadily improving, but it takes time. There were times last night the defense was stifling. Also Melo is getting better in sensing the double team and getting the ball to the cutter for a layup. The other thing to remember is that PVAM was a tournament team last year, just like ASU. They want to win a conference tournament and get the automatic bid. Look at their schedule to date. They have played some good teams and they should be highly competitive when Jan. 1 gets here.
