Saturday morning I saw parts of two games. Derrik Smits the Indiana boy who passed on us to go to Butler when he left Valpo. He would have helped but he wanted to stay in Indiana. The bigger concern for me was watching Chol Marial play for Maryland. He would have come here but we passed on him because we were worried about him being injury prone. He was out for awhile early in non-conference but is playing great for a frosh center. I keep thinking how he could be helping us now. We instead went with Andre Allen who has played little. He is supposed to have a hip injury. Also Timmie Allen at Utah we passed on, I see him leading Utah when he could be helping us. We really need to stop missing on players who would help us.
