your statement - I recognize the lack of effective offense to get open looks. - could not be more "spot on".
we have too many players standing around, which in turn makes playing D against ASU relatively easy.
Bill Walton made the same point - that ASU was forcing defended shots, and U4 was (besides getting points in the paint) shooting open looks.
I am really discouraged. Our players may not be 5*'s, but ASU was never in the game. coaching is clearly a significant part of this.
