Mickey hustles. Several rebounds, steals, that he got we otherwise wouldn't have. Those turn into possessions which can turn into points.
Admittedly he's not much of an offensive threat at all, but you can't discount the intangibles of the hustle.
Feel bad for Lawrence. Have no idea why he's got the yips. Cherry is a mystery - thought he bulked up in the off-season and would be much more of a contributor. I suspect both he and Lawrence will be gone after this season as I feel like they will choose to transfer. Hope I'm wrong about that because I feel like the talent is there. But maybe a change of venue will do both of their games good.
