: Kind of a snub that we are not even included on ESPN's bubble watch. We are #57 in the NET, and #44 in the RPI. Not a tournament team yet but anyone on the top 60 of both of those should at least be on bubble watch. I suspect if we can get a home sweep of the SoCal schools this week, we will probably make it to next weeks bubble watch at 15-8 (6-4).
: Not that I expect to sweep. Even in the win over Washington the same lack of discipline and horrendous shot selection was prevalent. I think Remy took like 4 shots from beyond 35 feet. Just ridiculous.
: The schedule is actually favorable for us to make a push for a bid as well. If we win all the games I expect we will be favored in we would finish 20-11 (11-7), that will certainly at least put us on the bubble.
: Home (UCLA and USC) - Should be favored in both games and need to sweep these.
: Road (Stanford and Cal) - Will probably be underdogs against Stanford and slight favorite at Cal. Both winnable games. Need to split.
: Home (Oregon and Oregon State) - Will be a slight underdog to Oregon and a solid favorite versus Oregon State. Sweep is very possible. But even a split doesn't hurt us too bad.
: Road (UCLA and USC) - Will probably be slight underdogs in both games. But with our record after losses I expect we can get a split here.
: Home (Washington and Washington State) - Imperative to sweep two games at home that we would be favored in.
: So if we sweep the two easier of the 3 home sets, and split our other 3 series we will finish at that 20-11 and 11-7 record. I honestly think that would get us in.
The above is the most optimistic view I could imagine. I hope you are right but given how erratic our play is I seriously doubt it. We are not near the bubble right now.
