running around is what they did. They played basketball all of the time. We had 13 team members, all of whom got pretty close to equal time, so there was a good deal of rest for everyone. One other thing five of them were, by far the best in the league. It was fun and easy to coach them. That was one of my great memories.
I am a little surprised that the full court press is not used more. A really well coached and athletic team could at times poke holes into it,...that is when you move on to something else. USC is I believe a decent team but they had no answer.
Also, USC had a great defense going. Fun game to watch.
