This has happened, with better D, better ball movement, Verge really coming into his own, Lawrence and Cherry (please heal up quickly), continued use of the bench, and other subtle factors.
Not sure what Thomas's issues are, bit who wouldn't want to be part of this team?
I think your assessment of the remaining games is fair. But anything - both good or bad - could happen.
