: Harden was an incredible equalizer. Which proves with the right one and done or in Harden's case (two and done), you can win with just one great guy on the college court. You don't need two, if your team knows who to go to with the game on the line. Now I will admit to go deep in the tournament, you probably need more guys, but just to make the tournament in college is possible with just one great player.

Harden was great, but he had some pretty good help.
6-9 Jeff Pendergraph was also an NBA player. 6-10 Eric Boateng added inside presence and kept teams from doubling Harden. Ty Abott had some great games and Harden’s buddy
Derek Glasser was an effective point guard. But you are definitely correct, a couple Harden clones would be a great asset. An Alton Lister, or even a Tony Cerkvenik (from the Way Back Machine) would be a big help for this year’s team.
