these are kids, and can develop at different rates, etc. Lawrence seemed to regress in the first half of the season, but toward the end, he was much more dependable. I expect better/more from him next year. Same with Cherry - who was just starting to get "it" back, when he suffered the injury. These guys are both starters next year. (We really need Melo back as well.)
Thomas typically was "lost" on D. but late in the season, he started to get it. I also think he had issues with the team or coach, but that was likely a maturity thing. He should have stayed - if he did not start, he would have been the first player off the bench.
CBH did not take a player out for missing shots, etc., but he did not hesitate to replace a player who lapsed on D. I like this system.
Hopefully next season is played, and Bagley turns out to be a contributor from the start. But the bench will be very, very shallow. Graham obviously gets more PT, House may be a starter.
