In his lone season in Oxford, Romello White made sure he left his mark. The graduate transfer made 122 of his 188 shot attempts (64.9 percent) for the best field goal percentage in Ole Miss basketball history.

White broke Marcus Hicks' record that lasted 22 years. During the 1998-99 season, Hicks shot 63.8 percent (162 of 254) from the floor to break Fred Cox's mark (62.8 percent) set in 1974. The minimum number of attempts to qualify for the school record is 150 throughout a single season.

White brought his toughness and physicality to Ole Miss, dominating the post. The Atlanta, Georgia, native averaged 11.4 ppg and 6.0 rpg, recording four double-doubles and four 20-point games along the way. On the defensive end of the floor, he registered 36 blocks to lead the Rebels and crack the SEC's top 10. He shot at least 75 percent in 12 of the Ole Miss' 28 games, including a trio of 7 for 8 (87.5 percent) nights.
