Ending up at GCU indicates that other than me, there are very few people who see upside with him.
For House, he can be the starter for the 'Lopes, and have a home crowd with friends and family, etc. I just don't see much upside, but I love his heart and effort - particularly on D.
As to GCU itself - I have nothing but respect. The program offers a traditional educational approach, or an on-line version (which likely erodes Crow's net cash flow), all with a religious component. The school has restructured to separate from the "for profit" element in regard to the educational platform. (The management and support services, however, are now separate.) With all of this, GCU offers an athletic program and atmosphere for student life comparable to other schools its size.
If the alternative was NAIA or D-II, I think GCU has done will in positioning itself.
