(G) Rolle was a converted corner and played like it. Rhodes is a legit safety, can play either position, and can cover like a corner. Absolutely they've improved at that position. The Cards defense features Adrian Wilson, but Rhodes just might lengthen Wilson's career by being able to do some of the same things near the line of scrimmage and allowing Wilson to play free safety sometimes.
You saw the offense starting convert late last year with Beanie Wells emerging as the starter. I think they're a left tackle and a decent tight end away from becoming a very solid, very physical offense. They ran G-Power better than the Steelers last year. Imagine if they had a legit tight end blocking on that play.
