Had SC been in the tourney, Stanford would have been the 8 seed and OSU the 7 seed I think. So, OSU would have played the 10 seed for the right to play ASU. Everyone below SC moved up a seed in their absense. Stanford would have played the 9 seed for the chance to play CAL.
None of it will matter if we can just take the Cardinal for a 3rd straight. Washington will probably await the winner, which might be a great game between two teams fighting for an at-large or tourney champ spot.
