Now that I have calmed down, and my pulse....

has stabilized, I have been reflecting.

As the game was starting the 4th Q, like many, I was wondering how large a margin would mark the win by U4. Needless to say, life is good, and order is restored to the universe.

but a reality check is required.

Just like the Ducks, au was determined to stop the inside run game, and filled the lanes with the front 7, and our OL did not have its best game.

Not sure why the quick slants to Harry, Williams, Aiyuk, Darby and others was not used. Get behind the LB's and an open field awaits.

The 3 and outs were disconcerting.

The kitties gashed our front 7 with JJ Taylor and others. They also were able to set and turn the corner with runs. Very troubling.

WTF was that play for the first 2 point conversion? Looked like a schoolyard play. Nice.

ASU did not quit, so when the brain trust of Sumlin, Mazzone, etc., decided to get really, really conservative, ASU was able, and willing, to take advantage of the opportunities. The stars aligned.

The Tucson fans are having a melt down - why go for 2 in the 3rd quarter? Why was Sumlin fired from aTm? how will recruits see this? why do bad things always happen to us?

Maybe Clay Helton can be the new OC for au.

I feel good things in the future for the roundball season as well.
