...because of criticism from coaches? See Mike Leach at WSU, and Danny Gonzalez at ASU. After reading about the beef between Leach and the guy from the Pac-12 office who intervened on the targeting replay in the WSU vs. USC game, I now wonder if the "no review" on the two point play at Oregon, was due to some sort of pay back for Coach Gonzalez's criticism of the Pac-12 referees from the Stanford game? Right now, I wouldn't put anything by those SOB's in the Pac-12 offices.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, there is absolutely NO REASON not to at least take a minute, or two to review a potential scoring play, that would've tied a game at 31-31, if called good, with only 4:25 left in a game. The fact that the explanation giving to Coach Edwards was that the referee was very confident in his call is a bulls**t excuse/ cop out. I'm sure that other referees in that game were very confident that N'Keal Harry had made a catch for a first down on ASU's last drive. However, that was reviewed, and it should've been, and was correctly reversed when you could see the ball go between N'Keal's arms and hit the ground. That's why you have replay.

That being said, if ASU scores one touchdown on any one of three trips into the red zone that night, instead of kicking field goals, then the Sun Devils most likely win that game. That ship has sailed. The bottom line is the Pac-12 Conference has a credibility issue when it comes to it's referees, and the replay process. It's become a national joke. Go Sun Devils!
