Don't kid yourself. The 1996 line was full of big tough linemen. It was much easier for Plummer to be "innovative" with 6'7" 340 Juan Rogue protecting his back. I always marvelled that a tackle as big as Roque could execute the fastest kick step and stop a DE dead in his tracks. He was the perfect left Tackle. Grey Ruegamer was big strong and nasty. I loved watching him play. He would attack until the last dying sound of the ref's whistle - maybe sometimes a little longer. Grey followed his ASU career with many years in the NFL and couple Superbowl rings. Great player. They were part of a big talented unit that executed Snyder's power blocking to perfection.

Kyle Murphy
Kirk Robertson
Juan Roque
Grey Ruegamer
Pat Thompson
Glen Gable

Players line Staat, Swayda, Burnstein and Vincent Amey anchored a solid D-line.
