One thing that needs to be understood is that CBH reacts in ways and to things I have never witnessed in 40 years of watching basketball. At least 5 times a game he reacts with tremendous emotion to calls that wouldn't even get most coaches off their seat. In most cases this reaction is to a call the referees got 100% right and he is jumping up and down, screaming, and wanting a prolonged explanation for. To be clear I believe CBH has the worst sideline decorum for a coach in the history of college basketball. He doesn't curse and throw chairs but he argues and complain 10 times more than the average coach. He makes Sean Miller look like Sendek.
The call in question from Wednesday's game was an offensive foul on a screen I am pretty sure. There is simply no reason to question that call. The ref clearly felt White moved into the defender while rolling. Earlier in the game CBH leaped of the bench ranting on another routine call. I am sure the referees were told not to let him do this stuff all game. I agree that the PAC-12 should have been T'ing him up all year so he would think there was a reason to control his behavior.
The bottom line is CBH is who he is. He is a fabulous recruiter that builds great relationships with his players. His demeanor on the sidelines though is really bad. So he and we should just know that for the 1 tech he may get that it is debatable whether he deserved it or not there are probably upwards of 20 that he didn't get that he did deserve. So I wouldn't complain.
