Bob Vetter! That's it! I went to about 3 maybe 4 of your games. The lefty on the hill, wow! Thanks for that memory!
Judy was bouncing reunion ideas off me, when I stayed with her for some football games this past year - my first as season holder. Gotta think that one's past now. They had to decide against the rooftop at Valley Ho cuz bathrooms down on bottom floor! I said porta potty next to the pool!
Can't wait for coming season. Dave was going to head with me to a game, and he had some old buddy (??) who had some great tailgate on North side - but he had to cancel cuz of family issues. I'll pass the word to you come football season when Dave and I go...stay tuned. You know Basket House, think yellow!
We moved back to Az onto E.Monterosa, and I started 4th grade. My parents started going to ASU games with my Uncle Steve....Couvdos (Frank and Greg)! I harassed my parents so much, I was going to all the games the next year. Did you know the Couvdos family? They were the closest to our family in those formative years. Frank and Greg hung at SHS when Saguaro went in down the street from their house....you know, when they could have left. In those days, Uncle Steve would sneak his whisky into game inside a bottle made to look like a transistor radio. Bout early 4th qtr, Uncle Steve was letting everybody know...no more music! I'm enjoying going thru this, even if you don't read it! Oh Z lived right off 64th, next to the DeFiels...just north of Lafayette in that little funky cul de sac that had that cut through past the Manzer's house to get to Kaibab. Oh, you probably know the Damore family. Dave my '75 class now lives around the corner. His older brother is about your age. Both stud football players. Gosh, I think I got myself started. Gotta do dishes. My soon to be 60 wife is off auditioning for a musical tonight! We are all lucky to be alive!
