West is known for his lower body strength (and nasty disposition) and not for his long arms. I doubt that he will be a P5 OT. Therefore he will need to bulk up from 285 lbs to at least 300 lbs and move inside. He added almost 40 lbs his last 2 years in HS. We shall see how much additional good weight he can carry on a 6-3 frame. Like many 3 star HS players, he stands the chance of becoming a tweener. Too short for OT and too light for interior play. Donít get me wrong, I like the kid. But letís not justify a bunch of 6-3 280 lb line recruits because West might make it onto the field. He might be a candidate for future Center. One or two of the others might get a look at DT or special teams. But I still would prefer to see 6-5 310 lb projects practicing on the field.
