I would like some feedback. I watched the game Saturday on TV. I expected ASU to lose as Utah's defense is so good and ASU is playing so many freshman but I didn't ever think that the offense would be so overwhelmed. In the Michigan State game the OC had a good game plan against that defense. But it did not seem that the OC had a good plan for Utah. It did not seem that the OC had plays to counter the very quick rush. Also I have listened to Herm's press conference and have heard other sound bites and the only think that I hear is that the young guys were overwhelmed. But what about the OC? Shouldn't part of the blame be placed at his feet for not having a game plan ready for the Utah rush or at least make adjustments during the game? 136 yards of offense with 25 yards of passing is down right ridiculous.
Even with adjustments I do not think ASU would and could win that game but a lot of kudos to the defense. I think the defense did a great job. I really think that the OC needs to be taking some of the heat for how lop sided the offense was instead of putting it all on the young players. Your thoughts?
